If you want to lure in visitors while contributing to the greater good amid the pandemic – learn a thing or two from authorities at Dracula’s castle, Romania. The tourist destination is now offering free jabs to those visiting it every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for the month of May.

The Romanian Castle has set up a vaccination center at its premises giving local and international guests access to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine free of cost on the designated days. However, it happens to be no regular pop-up.

The center adheres to the spooky theme, with the campaign featuring imagery of vampires snarl with their fangs replaced by needles. The medical staff, too, will boast fang stickers on their scrubs while administering the shots.

The initiative is said to have to two-fold approach: To increase the tourist footfall at the destination and to contribute towards herd immunity by vaccinating more and more people. Those who get themselves vaccinated, however, will not need to pay the entry fee at the castle.

Commenting on it, Alexandru Priscu, the marketing manager at Bran Castle, said, “We wanted to show people a different way to get the [vaccine] needle.” Visitors vaccinated at the destination will also get a “vaccine diploma” and free entry to the castle’s medieval torture exhibit. If you’re yet to get your jab, you know where to head!
